Our caustic soda producers and suppliers are located in China. The caustic soda is produced by the ion exchange membrane process. Stone Value Chemicals is looking at implementing a dissolution process to produce lye out of the flakes and pearls sourced from China.
Caustic soda is a strong base chemical and has a wide variety of applications:

Sulphuric acid is a colourless, corrosive liquid. South Africa produces and consumes around 3 million tons per year of sulphuric acid, the majority of which is used for making phosphate fertilizers. Sulphuric acid has a wide variety of other uses in the chemical and mining industries.
